A few winter PROJECTS!!

SO HAPPY TO SEE WINTER IN MY REAR VIEW
MIRROR

This was just a sample of what I had to deal with!!

Staying cooped up in the house this winter I was able to start
and even complete a few fun projects,

TAKE A LOOK!!!

A few months ago my neighbor came over and offered me
a couple of beveled window.
The window came out of an old home that was being torn down.
I accepted the windows and took them right away to my favorite custom
wood works carpenter/artist friend.
He is truly AMAZING!!

He was able to build an additional frame around the windows,
as well as adding some shapely legs.

And like magic I had two amazing end tables.
Once my table were created it was time to put a finish on them.
I was going to milk paint the tables, but as I was looking for just the right color,
I came across my new favorite paint!!

Annie Sloan's Chalk Paint

although its a great paint product it's not cheep!!
but a little bit goes a long ways!!!
I found that it was well worth the price that I paid.

I finished off the table in a Pure White with an antique finish.

I think the end tables turned out
BEAUTIFUL!!!
BUT WAIT THAT'S NOT ALL!!!

again thanks to my amazingly talented neighbor

I was able to put some finishing touches on my dinning area.
I have always wanted to live in a renovated barn, but until that
dream comes true, I'll have to make do!!!
So I had Joey make me some Barn Doors!!
take a peek:

closed
and can you see that beautiful table,
again another creation by
J.Thompson

I'm so thrilled to have such quality made custom furnishings.
But again,
THAT'S NOT ALL!!
take a look at what my Honey had made for me as
as Christmas gift.

I love, love my custom Rocking Chair!!
It is perfectly seamless and so comfy!!
You can see a couple of different pictures of this chair on
J.Thompson's blog sight
