Tinkering in the Jewelry Studio

I've had the worse case of painters block lately,
so I decided to make a change.

Maybe with my heart and head moving in a new direction,
I could get over this painters block.

So I headed out to my Jewelry Studio!!

While I was there I created a new piece for my daughter.
She was in need of a graduation gift for a
 sweet friend.
This is what I came up with,

It made for a great graduation gift and the new owner was thrilled!!

I also had the opportunity to attend a Silver Clay class hosted by the
 amazingly talented
Stephanie Chavez

I loved this class and an now addicted to Silver Clay!!
Take a look at what I created in just a couple of hours.

I can't begin to tell you just how much fun I had!!
Now I need to start saving my pennies so I can get my own kiln and
silver supplies.

Now I'm heading back to my painting studio to see if I can't
whip up a birthday present for my niece.
Wish me luck, I'll report back with the finished project!!

Debbie, Thank you for stopping by to visit & saying such sweet things about my little treasure from Diana Frey's class. I just saw that sweet heart with wings... I am sure your daughters friend was THRILLED with it as it turned out so well. A wonderful gift to mark a great milestone & one that no one else will have. That makes it all the more precious! PMC... be still my heart! I love it too! Your pieces are darling. I have taken 2 classes & LOVE it. I haven't gotten a kiln yet & the clay is expensive but, what creative windows there are to throw open. Have a wonderful week. Charlene

These pieces are exquisite - I love all the elements that you have added, creating a unique and meaningful gift. Sometimes a change in direction is what we need to blow all the cobwebs out of our creative heads, and make way for new things to appear. I can just image you working in your beautiful jewellry studio - I wish I could come and play with you in there, I guess in spirit I'm with you!
